I really needed a new camera, mostly to improve this blog. After a little research, I chose a Lumix DMC-FX37 by Panasonic which features a Leica Lens. I love it and I want to take good care of it. So, time to shop for a camera case! Well, one can only imagine how disappointing the options are. Until you go to Bottega Veneta. This is actually a velvety soft Nappa (lambskin) business card case, but when fully expanded, my new camera fits perfectly. I'm using my old Canon as a model, while taking these photos with my Lumix. I thought the Burnt Orange would add a nice punch of color to my bag and make it easier to find. My SA told me that Tomas Maier (the creative director of Bottega Veneta) uses this same card case for his camera.

Kevin, I was actually inspired by your Tea colored zip around coin case, but I found this to be more practical. I still want the zip around, but just waiting for the right "reason" to pick one up.

I have to have this! I threw my camera case away after the strong magnet demagnetized my credit card in Paris. Is there a magnet on this case?
I'm glad everyone approves! The closure is a snap, so no magnet worries. There is even an exterior open pocket for a few bills or credit cards.

Duchess, it is available in a ton of colors/skins. I have seen goat skin (Matita/cobalt blue/orange) and even matte crocodile and python.

i got this in brown as a wallet (because i love card holders as wallets since i hate carrying around anything much more than money and one or two cards with me) then i saw this post and i was like oh?
and i took everything out and put my camera in- fits like a glove!
