Bottega Veneta Karung Flip Flops

image: Bottega Veneta

I love these Karung (water snake) flip flops from Bottega Veneta. The woven straps are Karung and the rubber soles are inlaid with a lizard character made of calfskin. They look busy in this photo, but when they are worn, the Lizard does not show, which lets the Karung straps be the focus. The only problem is that they are from Spring/Summer 2006.

there are several pairs on ebay right now and even some in crocodile. i am not sure if they are authentic though since one seller has them in various sizes. i don't believe there are knock offs of these though, well i have not seen any. i am in love with the sandals with the ankle strap and buckle in crocodile. i am dying for those!

I also have the croc skin version which gives me blisters each time I wear those...so do not buy those.:-)

Kevin, thanks for the advice. I am dying for the croc flip flops, but based on your "ouch" experience, I am going to pass. I wonder where these are coming from??
