I promised to reveal my purchase from Deyrolle, a favorite shop covered here. This beautifully framed pair of yellow butterflies is the companion piece to the pair I acquired last year in blue. Even the box is beautifully made, I love the gold detail on the interior that adds an elegant touch. An important point I neglected to mention in my earlier post about Deyrolle is that they only work with animals and insects that have died of natural causes.
