I haven't really paid enough attention to Balenciaga until a striking bag caught my eye at Barneys NY a few weeks ago in a new Pre-Fall '09 color called Galet. Galet means Pebble in French and it could not be more accurate. The color is a warm grey or pale taupe. It is incredibly neutral and very seductive. Barneys had already sold the bag by the time I called, so here is a bit of my visit to Balenciaga New York.

Have you tried ordering from HG bags? It's cheaper in a way (not a very substantial lot if you are based in US. Erica sells weekender for US$1345) But she has a huge range.:-)

Hey Kevin. I contacted Erica, but was referred to her website stock only. The inventory is low at the moment and no Weekenders.

Oh my Gosh. I think I need this in my collection. It's a darker shade of Argent it seems!
Nice Weekender...I love Balebciaga bags for Men. The leather is soooo soft and becomes more beautiful with ages ! I have several including a Weekender in black. I got a Courier for my birthday in June in dark brown...I love it !
