Prada Wingtip Boot

image: Neiman Marcus

New for Fall/Winter 2009 Prada is bringing back the clunky brogue boot. These chunky tread soled wing-tip boots may be just the trick to weather a tough winter here in NYC. I think they would add a smashing dash of English Punk to a more sedate outfit. Can you imagine how much taller you would be? I noticed that they are made in England and not Italy. Fitting that they be from the home of Doc Marten's, no?

Available at Neiman Marcus here.

Not my type of shoes.

I always have liked wing tipped shoes, and I think these will look better once you are dressed and wearing them.
It's a stretch to see the elegance in a lug soled boot, unless you are a lug sole kind of guy.

this would go well with a black and silver CDC bracelet.

Ha! What about a Rivale?

Rivale is too tame. I say if you have the wrists, go for the big one. CDC all the way.
