New Year's Eve Outfit(s)

Jeff Koons Puppy with Fuchsia roses guarding duck quesadillas

Alexander McQueen shirt with jacquard collar

Playing bartender in Dries Van Noten sequined cuffs

I always have trouble deciding what to wear to an event, especially when we are hosting. I took advantage of the fact that we were home and I indulged in a costume change. Here is the table setting for our New Year's Eve cocktail party and my two looks. The first shirt is Alexander McQueen. Later, I changed into a favorite shirt by Dries Van Noten. I did not change my Uniqlo UJ Black skinny jeans, YSL Black Jonny boots, Black Dries Van Noten belt and Hermès Ombre Lizard CDC cuff.

Thanks to our lovely guests for making it a perfect New Year's Eve.

I love the McQueen shirt. Wanted to get it on Gilt but it was sold out! Love the bracelets/cuffs. ;)

Enjoying your blog, both for the display of luxury and the class. You have a way of turning something that can get over the top and making it just right.

You know what's crazy? I just started drinking Nicolas Feuillatte! It's very nice, and the price is right!
I also love Lanson Rose. I'm getting frugal in my old age. lol.

Duchess, you've got the sharpest eyes! Yes, we served Feuillatte. I also like Pol Roger and Veuve Clicquot in that price range.

Cheers!

Is that a Saarinen tulip?

Anonymous, actually the table top is the same as the Saarinen, but the base we chose is the polished stainless steel base designed by Florence Knoll. Both are manufactured by Knoll USA.
