I have fond memories of Sermoneta from my visits to Rome: the colorful array of lambskin gloves beckoning to me from the windows. Somehow I always ended up walking out empty handed because I am easily overwhelmed by too many choices.
Now that the Italian glove makers have arrived on Madison Avenue, I decided it was time for the perfect pair. A little dramatic and not warm enough for the dead of Winter, but too much fun to pass up. My new Sermoneta Black and Red driving gloves. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent and the unlined lambskin is remarkably soft. I can tell this is the beginning of a very bad habit.
$109 USD at Sermoneta Madison Avenue.
